**Highways Authorisations Assistant**
**Working Pattern: 37 hrs per week - Monday to Friday**
**Location: West Bridgford, Nottingham**
Via is currently looking for a Highways Authorisations Assistant to join our Street Works & Road Works Team based at our Trent Bridge House Office.
You will ensure that third party works on the highway are appropriately authorised and provide support to customers.
**The Job**
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Respond to customer requests and enquiries and draft, prepare and issue authorisations, permissions, consents and licences
- Take payments and operate cash and banking procedures in accordance with company requirements and financial regulations
- Receive and review notifications of abnormal load movements and liaise with hauliers to enable movements
- Maintain records for Traffic Regulation Orders to ensure that they are readily accessible to all colleagues and that data published on the internet is current
- Carry out site audits of Traffic Regulation Orders and initiate remedial actions where necessary

- GCSE English & Maths at grade C or equivalent knowledge of Street Works & Road Works
- Good ICT skills with experience of using Microsoft Office, internet and Asset Management
- Previous experience of basic financial processes for taking customer payments
- Awareness of current legislation, policies and procedures applicable to street works and road works

**Working Pattern: 37 hours per week**
**Location: Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire**
Via is currently looking for an Integrated Management System Coordinator to join our SHEQ Team based at our Head Office in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire.
You will operate as part of the SHEQ Team to maintain the company’s framework of systems, processes and business standards (Integrated Management System)
**The Job**
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Support the development and maintenance of an ISO 9001 accredited IMS to meet Via’s contractual requirements and industry standards.
- Operate across the business to support operational teams with the development and continual improvement of processes.
- Collaborate with Environmental and Health and Safety leads to ensure the continued development of the IMS
- Lead Via’s internal audit programme, ensuring Via’s auditors are adequately supported, to test compliance with the IMS
- Analyse performance data related to Via’s IMS in order to provide updates to relevant interested parties and to provide information to support effective business decision making.
- Administer Via’s IMS, providing structure and accuracy to system documentation, to ensure staff across the business can maintain effective document control practices.

- Experience of working to an accredited ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Qualified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and information to inform decision-making.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentational communication skills.
- Full driving licence, valid in the UK.
