The role works alongside the outsourced bookkeeping team, external accountants, two other team members handling payments in their departments and the payroll providers for each business. It requires you to work across stakeholders to check and confirm their work and help improve their processes.

**Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Checking and confirming all monthly payments - including to over 200+ freelancer teachers and associates
- Working alongside the outsourced book-keeping team to check and confirm weekly accounts across companies and ensuring accounts across businesses are closed weekly
- Devising ways to streamline and improve finance and accounting processes

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:

- Experience working with small business accounts and finances (a book keeping/ accounting qualification would be preferred but is not required)
- Ability to maintain high attention to detail while working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
- Experience with Xero and in automating/ simplifying finance workflows
- Excellent MS Office knowledge, familiarity with IT, and good numeracy skills
- Willingness to work hard, an aptitude to learn, tenacity, and a growth mindset

**Salary**: £27,000.00 per year
