Animal Technician

Are you an animal lover looking to begin your career in a rewarding industry?

We have an incredible opportunity for an Animal Technician to join our world-leading client in Coventry, working with rodents and aquatics.

**Responsibilities**:

- To work as part of a team to ensure the maintenance of animal cages/tanks
- Health checking of animals to ensure they are free from injury, disease, pain etc.
- Assist senior staff with their roles as requested
- Ensuring areas, surfaces and equipment are as clean and sterile as possible to prevent the introduction or spread of disease and infection
- Preparing diet for aquatics and rodents
- Supervised management of breeding colonies

Person Specification
- You must have previous experience working with animals, specifically rodents and aquatics
- You must have knowledge of basic animal husbandry and welfare

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,761.00-£22,630.00 per year
