Licensed Animal Technician

Are you an Licensed Animal Technician looking for your next role in a successful, well-known facility?

We have an incredible opportunity for an Experienced Animal Technician to join our world-leading client in Coventry, working with rodents and aquatics.

**Responsibilities**:

- To work as part of a team to ensure the maintenance of animal cages/tanks
- To carry out procedures under the authority of the relevant Home Office personal and project
- Health checking of animals to ensure they are free from injury, disease, pain etc.
- Assist senior staff with their roles as requested
- Ensuring areas, surfaces and equipment are as clean and sterile as possible to prevent the introduction or spread of disease and infection

Person Specification
- You must have previous experience working with animals in a research environment specifically rodents and aquatics
- You must have knowledge of basic animal husbandry and welfare

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
