Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Farm Operations Specialist to join our team at Agricultural Recruitment Specialists. As a key member of our agricultural recruitment agency, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our farm equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Field Operations: Assist in the operation of farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, plows, and other agricultural equipment.
  • Animal Care: Participate in daily animal care routines, including feeding, milking, and monitoring the health and well-being of the herd.
  • Facilities Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of farm facilities, including barns, storage areas, and equipment sheds.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a mixed farming environment, with a focus on farm operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Skillset: Proficiency in operating tractors and other farm machinery, as well as basic maintenance and mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of dairy farming practices, including feeding and milking, as well as animal health and welfare.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
