We are looking for an experienced Planner to work on a major electricity transmission project in Pentir (North West Wales). This project is scheduled to run until 2027.

As Planner, you will:

- monitor contractor performance against agreed baselines.
- evaluate monthly contractor programme submissions and provide appropriate recommendations.
- propose and develop mitigation and recovery strategies.
- review compensation event submissions including impacted programmes.
- progress National Grid owned activities, such as land and consenting requirements.

You'll be required to maintain a regular presence on site (2 days per week on average) to work with both internal and external stakeholders.

**What you'll need**:
You'll be an experienced Planner/Planning Engineer with significant construction industry experience. Electricity transmission industry experience would be beneficial, but not essential.

With significant experience of using Primavera P6 planning software, you'll have experience of using NEC forms of contract, including programme clauses, early warnings, compensation events etc. In addition, you'll have experience of using Earned Value management

A Full Driving Licence is also essential.
