**Job Title**: Senior Planner (Construction)

**Location**: Preston / Warrington

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Planner in the exciting world of construction project management. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Planner with expertise in Civils Construction, from design and procurement to installation. This role offers the opportunity to work within the Sellafield Programme framework, a strategic alliance with Sellafield Limited and Morgan Sindall, responsible for Construction Management.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for:

- Providing planning management and support to both pre-contract and contract operations.
- Coordinating with bid and construction teams to manage planning and programming aspects of bid proposals and multiple ongoing projects.
- Producing, managing, and updating construction programs, communicating them to internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing and incorporating change events into construction programs to secure full entitlement under the contract.
- Tracking design deliverables effectively and updating procurement schedules.
- Proficiency in Earned Value Management (EVM) and reporting processes.
- Proactively using Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and managing project risks.
- Mentoring and coaching assistant planners and planners.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in Civils Construction, from design through installation.
- Strong understanding of construction sequence and EPC projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and 3D BIM models.
- Experience with NEC contracts and change management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and key delivery partners.
- Familiarity with 4D visualization and 3D models.
- A proactive and self-driven attitude.
