**HR Officer - Barnet - Secondary School - ASAP Start**
An exciting opportunity has arisen in a successful Barnet Secondary School to join their busy HR team on a full-time basis. The successful HR Officer will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Faculties/Departments to provide accurate and timely recruitment advice and administration in line with procedures and best practices.
Working hours for this role are 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday. This is an all year-round job role.

**About the role**:
The successful HR Officer will be working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Faculties/Departments to provide accurate and timely recruitment advice and administration in line with procedures and best practices.
Whilst much of the role supports the recruitment process, this is a HR generalist role which will allow for the job holder to be involved in other stages of the employee life cycle.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Effective management and delivery of high volume recruitment and selection activity
- Offering expert advice and guidance in relation to recruitment best practice,
- Produce employment contracts and variation to contracts in line with authorised management requests
- Processing new starters from recruitment to onboarding.
- Providing day to day confidential and professional HR Administration services
**The successful applicant will**:
- be flexible and adaptable and willing to perform additional duties as required by the school
- have previous HR experience within an education environment
- be educated to degree level and ideally hold a HR qualification
- Experience of providing high-level HR administrative support in a busy office environment
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate on all levels
- Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels internally and externally.
