We are looking for a **Group Compliance Coordinator,** reporting to the Group Compliance Manager to join the team on a fixed term contract of up to 12 months.

At Arriva, we manage the Group's key compliance risks by abiding by our 'Corporate Confidence Programme'. We’re looking for an analytical, self-assured, organised and confident individual to provide administrative support to assist in the smooth running of the Corporate Confidence programme and various other projects within the Compliance function.

**Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:
**Maintenance of the Group compliance training programme specifically**:

- Self-sufficient administration on Arriva Learning; maintaining the Corporate Confidence programmes’ content and translations.
- Pro-actively identifying areas for process improvement.
- Registering new users to Arriva Learning.
- Allocating appropriate training modules to new and existing users.
- Maintaining a training register.
- Supporting design and addition of new content to the learning management platform.
- Engaging with compliance officers across business units to ensure completeness of training records, analysing and reporting on completion status’ and working with business units to reduce non-compliance.

**Support the compliance reporting process**:

- Liaising with compliance officers across business units to ensure timely reporting of compliance matters.
- Acting as first-time reviewer by completing quality checks, and challenging compliance where appropriate.
- Liaising with the workstream leads to ensure timely reporting of workstream progress to support the coordination of workstream activities so that issues are reported and escalated appropriately.
- Maintaining the incident tracker with information provided by the business ensuring any closed incidents have remedial actions taken where appropriate.
- Support the management of the Corporate Confidence intranet page, ensuring content is accurate and accessible.
- Running initial sanctions screening on external suppliers, analysing results and escalating when necessary.
- Managing the team support mailbox dealing with ad hoc queries, escalating where needed.
- Other ad hoc requests and projects as determined by the Group Compliance Manager.

- Analytical and able to identify solution or recommendation with ease.
- Able to create and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with ability to communicate, manage and influence remotely with various business units including Mainland Europe.
- Able to communicate effectively, verbally and written with reasoning skills.
- Self-assured, organised and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic working environment.
- A self-starter, able to plan ahead and see through ambiguity.
- Good computer skills, able to navigate Microsoft Excel and manage data where required.

Previous experience in a compliance related role is not required for the role.
