Programme/resource Planner

Our client is an award-winning, market-leading group of companies covering a wide range of industry sectors. Due to expansion, they are currently recruiting for a Programme/Resource Planner to join their team on a permanent basis.

Based in Gateshead, this role will report to the Operations Director and will be responsible for all aspects of project and programme planning for a range of projects across the UK.
**The Role**
The Programme/Resource Planner will be able to work flexibly, adapting to changing business needs and will provide essential project support to the team.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Project and programme planning
- Extensive use of MS Project
- Programme workbook management
- Labour planning
- Project set up
- Programme review and alignment
- Cost reconciliation
- Documentation compliance
About You
The successful Programme/Resource Planner will be a self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver reports and programme updates to senior management.
Other requirements will include:
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically MS Project, Outlook & Excel
- Brilliant organisational / time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience within an Engineering, Building Services or Construction environment would be beneficial but not essential
