We are currently seeking a part time Support Practitioner to work within our Housing Support Service based in Largs, Ayrshire.

We care, connect and communication while supporting people with a range of complex needs so they can live independent fulfilling lives.

**What your day will look like**:
You will be working with people on a 1-2-1 basis or as part of the team helping to support and assisting people in their day to day lives, whether it be cooking, communicating, shopping, going out for the day. cinema, arts, bowling or walking. We take the time to get to know the people we support and take a person-centred approach to care. You will be supporting people in a housing support setting and working various shift patterns. The role will include person care, from helping someone brush their teeth or combing their hair. No two days are the same

**This role could be for you if you**:

- Believe passionately in the rights of people with disabilities to live valued lives
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a strong work ethic and are a team player
- Can make things great. You know how to improve service quality for the benefit of users.
- Are professional. You can deal with complex and sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Are comfortable and confident in using a computer and are IT literate
- Have a good knowledge of services Sense Scotland provide
- Have an understanding of Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) and care standards within Scotland
