Applications are invited for a Research Midwife, to work with the Hypertension Team led by Professor Richard McManus, on a research programme centred around the control of blood pressure and prevention of cardiovascular disease for women following hypertensive pregnancy (SNAP2), and a feasibility trial of self-management of hypertension during pregnancy. The person undertaking this role will be involved with recruiting participants, following up with participants, managing trial paperwork, and reviewing clinical notes. They will work closely with colleagues in the Hypertension Research Group as well as in the Oxford Safer Pregnancy Alliance (OSPREA) research team at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

The postholder will be based in the Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG. But will also work with the Oxford Safer Pregnancy Alliance (OSPREA) research team at the John Radcliffe Hospital and interact with hospital sites across the UK.

The position is funded for 3 years in the first instance.
