Purchase Assistant

Duties to include
- Answering phone calls
- Keeping SK informed at all times
- Raising Purchase Orders after confirmation from SK
- Keeping Purchase order file in order
- Chasing and confirming deliveries
- Observing discrepancies re Stock / Purchase orders on 123
- Liaising with suppliers particularly Italians re deliveries
- Liaising with foreign Couriers re delivery dates and content
- Matching delivery notes with POs
- Advising SK of any discrepancies with D/Notes and POs
- Dealing with queries as advised
- Matching Invoices and Credits with Delivery Notes
- General Admin as required
- Ensuring delivery notes are signed and dated
- Checking and entering supplier and nominal invoices onto Sage
- Solving queries relating to invoices
Required Skill
- Previous administrative experience
- Proficient IT Skills along with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Sage
- Excellent organisation and administration skills, including good attention to detail
