**Management Accountant International Investment House London £60,000 plus 20% bonus**

The successful applicant will work closely with the Commercial Team and wider business to become integral to managing a number of reporting and commercial processes. The successful applicant will be a self-starter, used to independent working and able tosolve problems.

The team is relatively small, but the business is complex with an international outlook. Although the responsibilities are mainly related to using and developing management information, knowledge of or a strong interest in either corporate tax or statutoryaccounting would be an advantage, in order to help the team out during busy statutory reporting periods.
- An accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA), with at least 3 years post-qualified experienced, trained by a leading accountancy firm or commercial business with exposure to a number of functions including tax, statutory accounting and management accounting.
- Knowledge of UK tax and an interest in or knowledge of international tax an advantage.
- Willing to work flexibly to help out the team during busier times in the reporting cycle.
- Enthusiastic about working in a small, international, fast-growing business.
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Net Suite or similar accounting system.
- Excellent IT and Communication skills.
- Excellent analytical & interpersonal skills.
- High level of commercial acumen.

**Key responsibilities include**:
Management Information
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of annual group budget
- Monitor case commitment and other funding exposures
- Maintain and develop portfolio tracker showing investment returns
- Business modelling for Medium Term Planning exercise
- Maintain and update case valuations in line with IFRS

Compliance and statutory accounting
- Preparation of statutory accounts of certain entities such as a number of SPVs or international offices.
- Maintain transfer pricing documentation and calculate transfer pricing charges for overseas companies.
- Manage audit process and corporate tax for certain subsidiary companies.

Supporting case investment process
- Perform ad-hoc financial modelling for investment officers in relation to case quantum.
- Management of funding requests and tracking case spend against case budget.
- Commercial review of funding notices.

Special projects
- Support Finance Director in financial modelling of co-funding terms
- Financial appraisal of commercial terms and preparation of material for the

Investment Advisory Panel and Executive team
- Ad-hoc support for the Finance Director such as investment structuring, raising external finance
- Financial modelling to value assets for disposal or sub-funding of litigation assets
