Beacon Comms is a leading telecoms small works contractor in the UK, working with major telecom companies such as MBNL, Three UK, EE, BT, and Cellnex. We specialize in acquisition, design, and build services.

We are currently seeking a **Delivery Coordinator** to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a team that values teamwork and innovation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.
- Work closely with the project team to meet deadlines.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Beacon Comms standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Assist in the development of project plans and schedules.
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Act as the point of contact for all participants.
- Schedule regular meetings and record decisions (e.g., assigned tasks and next steps).
- Collaborate with the team to keep all projects on schedule.
- Report project status to stakeholders.

**Tasks**:

- **Permit Management**: Managing permit submission and follow-up for permit approvals.
- **Engineer Access**: Arranging access for engineers to job sites.
- **Resource Management**: Submitting resource requests for planned jobs.
- **Job Sheet Creation**: Raising job sheets for engineers.
- **Dependency Management**: Clearing dependencies for planned jobs.
- **Supplier Management**: Contacting suppliers for quotes and raising purchase orders (POs) for suppliers, getting them approved from the approving authority.
- **Schedule Management**: Sending the schedule to teams on a weekly basis.
- **Report Management**: Updating internal and external reports so that project managers can update clients in a timely manner.
- **Project Coordination**: Coordinating closely with project managers on a daily basis.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations. This includes conducting regular safety audits, providing safety training to staff, and implementing safety protocols on site.
- **Submission of Additional Costs Requests**:If unforeseen work arises during the project, submit requests to the customer for additional costs. This requires clear communication and negotiation skills to ensure all parties are on the same page.
- **Checking and Submission of Handover Documents**: Ensure all handover documents are accurate and complete before submission. This includes cross-checking all details and making sure all necessary information is included.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in project coordination or similar role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the telecom or construction industry is a plus.
- IT skills for example basic MS office is a must.
