This exciting and broad ranging role will be building on progress to date, working with internal and external partners, stakeholders, communities, and landowners to deliver on innovative projects that deliver nature to Norfolk’s residents and visitors.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to play a crucial role in the delivery of projects relating to sustainable placemaking, accessible green spaces, and the wider Greenways to Greenspaces programme.

Integral to the success of these projects is someone who has a keen eye for detail, is able to problem solve, and can switch focus and manage a demanding workload.

You will have knowledge and understanding of external funding programmes and enjoy a fast-paced and a collaborative team environment. You will lead delivery of placemaking projects and oversee infrastructure development from concept to completion. You will be supporting the Lead Project Manager and Project Team Leader on administration matters relating to resource, schedule, and budgetary control.

You will have at least one year’s project management experience either in local authority or similar, initiatives and skills to develop solutions and work plans based on business demands and objectives. You will also need to be able to interpret and disseminate policy and present in an understandable format to non-specialists. In addition to this you will understand nature recovery and the implications of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy and how this work may influence future local projects.

Key focus areas:

- Project delivery and implementation
- Develop and support partnership working with external stakeholders
- Delivery of infrastructure projects of various sizes
- Work with stakeholders, project boards, and project teams to ensure that projects meet business requirements
- Support the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies, campaigns and information management.
- Prepare project delivery documents, briefs and procure works and services
