We are looking for an Assistant Project Officer to join the Infrastructure Delivery Team here at Norfolk County Council. This exciting and broad ranging role will work on high-profile, highway infrastructure projects which includes the Long Stratton Bypass, West Winch Housing Access Relief Road and Transforming Cities which are being delivered by Norfolk County Council's Highways Service.

Good administrative, time management and prioritisation skills will be essential to support the multi-disciplined teams working on our projects. You will provide direct support to Project Managers and Project Coordinators, also working closely with the Project Officer.

Experience in dealing with the necessary project administration, including supporting project boards and other project groups will be required. Support will also be required for the project related communications, including contact with stakeholders, and managing contract databases and resource planning software. Some experience of providing procurement support for projects will be of assistance.
