AB Texel UK are a large, well-established agricultural bulk transport company, who transports agricultural bulk goods, mainly potatoes, to the factory.

We are currently recruiting for a HR & Payroll assistant to join our dynamic team.

**Monday to Friday 0930 - 1430**
**£15500 - £16500 per annum**

We are currently recruiting for a HR & Payroll Assistant to join our dynamic team.

As an HR and Payroll Assistant, you will work closely with the HR and Payroll departments to provide essential day to day administrative support to the business.

You will also be required to carry out the following (this list is not exhaustive):

- **Payroll**:_
- Data Entry
- Analyse Data (for example parking data)
- Monthly reporting
- **HR**:_
- Assist with the recruitment process for both sites.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the business is adhering to the agreed standards in relation to Induction and Employment legislation.
- Create induction packs for new starters.
- Provide an effective support service for HR processes - starters, leavers and other employee processes as needed.
- Ensure all HR Processes are effectively maintained, and data integrity is accurate.
- Work with HR Manager in relation to HR administration, policies and procedures.
- Assist with any grievance or disciplinary matters in line with company policy. Taking minutes, setting up investigation/disciplinary/outcome meeting and management of this thereafter.
- Manage sickness/absence reporting and address any sickness absence issues in line with company policy and monitor for improvement
- Support the coordination of employee events and activities to promote a positive work culture.
- To undertake any other duties and deal with matters which can be reasonably expected of this position.

Ideally you would have:

- Previous HR and/or Payroll experience desired, however, full training will be given.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- IT literate
- Attention to detail
- You can work well as part of a team and/or on your own initiative.
- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to prioritise, multitask and manage your workload.
- Full driving licence.
