**Your new company**
I am working with a non-governmental organisation, on an exclusive basis, and we are looking for a Policy Manager. The role reports into the secretary general and provides a critical role representing the organisation on a global basis. You will be representingthe NGO on behalf of the UK arm of the organisation to implement new policy solutions within Sustainability, Tax and Trade. In order to success, you will need to build effective relationships across the organisation and externally.
**Your new role**
The successful applicant will be:

- Developing and delivering a well-coordinated Policy Programme (topics include Trade and Sustainability) that is fully aligned to the organisations mission and purpose both on a national and global strategic level.
- Providing line management leadership to two Policy Co-Ordinators as well as making the skills within the team readily available across to organisation, to assist working relationships with numerous UN Bodies.
- Provide support to the management team regarding the execution of policy programmes. This will also include preparing briefings, papers and presentations.
- Liaise closely with government to help raise the profile of the organisation, to ensure we can implement their commitments on a global scale.
- Manage the development and delivery of non-commercial policy events.

**What you'll need to succeed**
This position is ideal for someone who is:

- Educated to a Masters degree, or equivalent
- Experienced in Policy Management across Sustainability, Tax, or Trade
- Experience in working for a Central Government Department, or Government Agency (wider public sector will also be considered
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills
- Desirable - Delivered a regional programme on a global scale
