**Job Title - Prepress Production Controller**
Reporting To - Production Director/Technical Director
**Main Purpose of Job**
To deliver operational excellence across the Prepress department, whilst engaging and working alongside all other areas of the business, delivering a world class level of service to the client both internally & externally. To Adopt a ‘hands off management approach’ to ensure clear focus on departmental operations / schedules working closely with the development team to deliver automation.

Key Responsibilities:
- To work closely with the Scheduling team to ensure Prepress workload is scheduled smartly to satisfy both the client and the internal production. The aim is for Presses to always have files / plates.
- Work closely with the Customer Service Team, not against, ensuring best in class service. Ensure all of our customers both internal and external receive an exceptional level of quality and service in all dealings with us.
- Ensure adequate staff cover is in place for sickness, holidays and busier trading months
- Stock Management Control ensuring a good supply of all consumables are available on site
- Deliver and Maintain industry standards of operational excellence for all customers of Pureprint Group.
- Responsible for creating and sustaining a positive culture within the Prepress department, thus achieving high employee satisfaction along with retention, developing and being employee focused at all times and act in accordance with company principles.
- Embrace all technological advancements in line with Automation and work closely with the technical support team to deliver change management within the department.
- Identify Staff development and training to ensure the department achieves a lean well-balanced team that are willing to offer help and advice to all areas of the business.
- To follow internal procedures in raising NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and Spoilages.
- To identify system improvements and efficiencies through process development that increases the throughput of work and reduces the time taken to process that work. Detailing these directly to your line manager. Embrace change in order deliver continual improvement through consistently reviewing / refining the process.
