Event Coordinator

We are looking for a highly motivated team player to assist in the planning of Yardi events to include logistics, sourcing materials, and communicating to decision makers for Yardi’s growing Marketing Team
**What you will do**:
- We are looking for a competent organizer to join our events team and help oversee the planning and execution of our events strategy.
- You will need to be a project oriented, has a clear understanding of marketing and promotion techniques to further drive event success.
- Be enthusiastic with fresh ideas and the organizational skills. Events include, but not limited to: Exhibitions, Third Party Conferences and Industry Association Events, Client Conferences and Product User Groups, webinars and client entertainment.
- Play a key role within the events team to ensure the successful execution of a range of events and webinars according to strategy, requirements, target audience and objectives.
- Supporting the coordination of all pre-event, at-event and post-event activities.
- Being creative and promoting new, innovative ideas that will enhance the event’s success.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, event organizers and industry associations.
- Working with regional sales team, and other department members to ensure the required involvement at events is efficiently executed.
- Work with line manager to ensure approval of all aspects of the event.
- Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur.
- Support post-event evaluation and analysis, as well as the evaluation lead generation.
**What you need to have**
- Two plus (1+) years of experience in event planning.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM systems, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- National travel required up to 10% for meetings, events, forums, and site inspections.
**What would be helpful to have?**
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- Experience in HubSpot.
