**Veterinary Referral Coordinator**

Stowe Veterinary Group is seeking a Referral Coordinator to join its busy 24-hour veterinary practice group.

We are looking for a highly efficient, personable, and professional team member to join us in delivering exceptional care and communication to our clients, their pets, and the referring veterinary community.

Due to the nature of the work, we need someone who has significant experience of working in a practice, ideally as a veterinary nurse, and is looking to bring their expertise to a new role.

**Job information**:
You will facilitate all appointments (including initial examinations, rechecks, nurse rechecks and procedures) and provide assistance during the transition of becoming a client/patient to one of our specialists.

You will act as the primary contact for clients who want to arrange an appointment with one of our clinical team as well as answering general questions regarding our services. An understanding of the referral process would be beneficial, as you will also act as the primary contact for referring clinics who wish to transfer a patient to our facility for further care.

**Skills and qualifications**:

- Veterinary clinical and administration experience (preferred)
- Friendly, professional and approachable, with compassion for pets and people
- Excellent customer service, communication and listening skills
- Able to work alone, as well as being a good team player
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Efficient, organised, composed, and friendly under pressure
- Able to work between 8m and 8pm, including occasional nights and weekends
- Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel)

**Information**:
Full and Part Time will be considered - hours between 08:00-20:00 Monday to Friday

Job share role maybe possible

Some weekend work maybe required for events

You may also need to attend some events away from the practices

Vehicle driver essential as there will be travel between the practices.
