Quality Control Technician

Our client, one of the leading manufacturers of chlorine-based water purification and disinfection products, is seeking for a quality control technitian as they grow their trained workforce.

What would you do?
- You will be expected to carry out the daily duties outlined below for the QC laboratory.
- To ensure that raw materials arriving meet specifications.
- To ensure that bulk and finished commodities are produced within reasonable quality, quantity, and efficiency constraints.
- To confirm that the requirements and specifications provided in the work instructions or procedures are met regarding in-process control quality.
- To deliver precise testing of parts, raw materials, bulk/finished products, stability samples, and technical support in the analytical QC lab.
- Gathering, recording, and archiving QC retention samples.
- To calibrate QC lab equipment as directed by the relevant SOP.
- Initiatives for continual quality improvement are supported, found, and carried out.
- To make certain that ethical production procedures are followed.
- You should have a thorough understanding of QA SOPs and GMP concepts.
- Cross-checking test findings produced by operations while verifying batch records to ensure Process Control Checks are done.
- Internal auditing's purview.
- To occasionally perform additional tasks as expected or requested, as necessary for the execution of site activities.
- To help fill in for opposing QC Technician holidays and absences, flexibility is needed.

About You:

- High level of literacy and numerate.
- Be systematic and organised.
- Have the capacity to meet deadlines and pay close attention to details.
- Possess knowledge of the fast-moving consumer goods industry and good manufacturing practises (preferred)
- Experience of a related workplace

Program and Pay details:
Shift rotation pattern
- Early shift - 06:45-14:45 Monday to Thursday and 06:45-13:45 Friday
- Late shift: 14:30-22:30 Monday to Thursday and 13:30-20:30 Friday.
- Overtime available
- Full Training
