Accounts Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant.
**The Role will involve**:
- Processing invoices to purchase ledger
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts to supplier statements
- Liaising with Suppliers reference any queries
- Month end supplier payment runs
- Processing electronic payments, recording and allocation of receipts and updating customer accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Monthly Credit Cards transaction postings and reconciliations
- Bank runs as required
- Answering telephones and performing other administration duties as required
- Additional ad-hoc duties to support finance department.
**Essential Criteria**:
- At least 1 years accounts experience
- Previous experience in a financial environment - accounts payable, credit control, financial administration
- Good IT Skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Good customer/supplier service skills, and confident telephone manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel.
**Desirable Criteria**
- Sage 50 experience
Part-time, permanent employment. Monday to Friday 9am - 1pm.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
