**The role**

Finance graduate looking to pursue an accountancy career while gaining valuable financial and commercial experience working in a growing and fast moving business. Contract of employment will offer full support to the finance graduate in the pursuit of external professional accountancy qualification.
- Assist in the management of key performance indicators including financial, operational and commercial information.
- Cash Flow Management - Assist with developing and monitoring cash flow forecasting reports.
- Assisting with the preparation of the annual budget and strategic planning processes.
- Assist in maintaining financial controls, procedures & reporting systems in compliance with company’s procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in the completeness and accuracy of bank reconciliations, prepayments, accruals and balance sheet control accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with year-end financial statements preparation and supporting the year-end audit process.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and liaise with government agencies as required.
- Provide finance expertise and decision support to the Finance Manager
- Provide support to the wider finance team including Pricing and Margin Analyst, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments.
- Continuously challenge and improve financial control systems and processes.
- Role has scope to grow in responsibility and tasks depending on the individual and their progression.

**Personnel Specification**
- Finance Graduate interested in pursuing a career in accountancy
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability to provide creative solutions
- Strong IT systems skills - Excel /Word/Powerpoint
- Team-player with strong people Skills
- Challenging, a 'can do' mentality;
- Self-starter with strong analytical, innovative and achievement capabilities.
