The London HR Team supports the UK and Global commodity business in all aspects of HR. The Regional HR Manager works closely with Group HR Team and is responsible for the UK and West Africa. We support approximately 70 staff based in London and 40 Expatriate staff and oversee the origin local HR Teams.

Working in a Team of 4, the HR Assistant will work with the HR Manager to provide a comprehensive and proactive HR service by providing HR support to the business. The role will involve all areas of HR with a focus on Recruitment and projects.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Recruitment
- Supporting on the full recruitment lifecycle from an administrative/support perspective including drafting job specs/adverts
- Screening CVs effectively to ensure criteria are met
- To manage the social media to attract talent and work with HRM to develop this within Group Recruitment

General HR
- To assist with HR queries and questions.
- Working with the HRM, to maintain and develop HR data within our Database and be passionate about accurate and up to date data.
- To work with the HRM on the Global Onboarding Project and development/maintenance.
- Prepare and regularly update communication materials about HR matters - UK Intranet Site, Benefit communication, careers website - as required
- Assist with the writing and implementation of new policies and procedures
- Assist the HRM with Group and HR projects as required.
- Support the HRM with the annual Performance Review process as required.
- To be an additional Administrator on HR Data Base (ETMS)
- To assist with HR Absence Recording System
- Prepare and update reports including Turnover, Org Charts where required
- Assist with the planning and preparation of training and development programme including development of Apprenticeship Levy.
- Dealing with general HR queries as required

Skills & Experience
- 2+ years’ experience of working in a similar and relevant HR role in a comparable organisation
- Be highly IT literate - happy to work with HR databases and design packages
- Able to support in a proactive, productive and professional manner
- Deliver an excellent level of service and build strong proactive working relationships
- Demonstrate sound professional judgement and a common-sense solution-focused approach to problems
- Excellent attention to detail with high quality written and verbal communication skills
- HR Certification would be beneficial
- Be able to manage a number of tasks within a fast changing environment
- Experience within social media/advertising/recruitment would be beneficial
