Finance Administrator

UK Direct Business Solutions are an established and fast-growing Utilities Consultancy based in Houghton-le-Spring and we are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our team
As Finance Administrator you will be responsible for processing sales data and being extra vigilant, ensuring sales are processed through from the Compliance team to the Finance team as seamlessly as possible
Role & Responsibilities:
- Process sales and losses, picking up any errors and making sure all data is 100% correct
- Support the Senior Finance Administrator and wider Finance team, providing accurate sales information
- Liaise with the Compliance team to correct any errors and answer questions from Finance Administrators
- Deal with queries from a variety of departments efficiently and accurately
- Flag any errors as soon as they arise to solve problems quickly and keep up to date with sales
- Assist in processing staff commission statements monthly
- Adhoc finance tasks as requested by the Finance Manager
Skills & Experience:
- Good understanding of, and experience using Excel
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a finance or admin team/environment
- An excellent eye for detail, able to pick up errors quickly and be very accurate
- Confident flagging issues with other departments
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
- Able to multi-task
- Ambition and willingness to take on new challenges
