We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. You will provide general administrative and office support including reporting maintenance issues, ordering office supplies, receiving and delivering post, maintaining and troubleshooting problems with photocopiers and updating noticeboards and websites.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
- Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.
- Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Provides information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Additional duties as required.

- Highly organised, proactive and able to multi-task
- Confident and competent with a range of IT and administrative software packages
- Willing to learn and develop
- Willingness to take responsibility of own tasks

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- GCSEs/A-levels or equivalent education (required)
- 3 years of administrative assistant experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
