Our client is a globally leading pharmaceutical company, who are looking for a Product Manager Associate to join their team based in Burgess Hill on a hybrid basis.

**Responsibilities**
- Product Management support
- Fulfil assigned product management responsibilities, with specific attention to product availability to meet customer demand/business demand.
- Support and/or lead the assessment and evaluation of market information in order to identify business opportunities and market threats for the assigned products.
- Support and/or lead the development and implementation of an appropriate marketing strategy and tactical action plans to optimise product performance in alignment with overarching company strategies and objectives.
- Build strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders, with particular focus on; sales and technical teams, and our customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Key Product Management tasks
- Work with sales and product managers to ensure that portfolio products are actively forecasted each month as per the forecasting processes.
- In coordination with Product Managers and Sales manage the introduction and withdrawal products to/from the UK & Ireland markets as per the product introduction / withdrawal process.
- Ensure that all commercial product management tasks are properly implemented in a timely manner in accordance with the procedures in place.
- Working closely with the Customer Notification team to ensure that all changes affecting those products are communicated as per the product change communication process.
- Ensure the right business processes related to the product management aspects are in place with the various support functions as e.g., Supply Chain, Customer Service, Regional Customer Support, Installations.
- Key Marketing Support tasks
- Assist in the planning and implementation of Market Research cost effectively, to ensure the most up-to date market intelligence is available to the organization, to include local customer advisory boards / customer meetings.
- Liaise with the UK sales team & market research resources to obtain, cost effectively, the most up-todate competitor intelligence.
- Assist in the identification of key business / market development opportunities.
- Undertake regular field visits, including key customers and opinion leaders in order to develop a key understanding of customer needs

**Requirements**:

- Degree level educated, ideally in Life Science or Biomedical Science. Would consider Business Management degree or similar
- Work experience within the diagnostics testing market, business management or Marketing, although not essential, would be advantageous.
- An appreciation of some of the following diagnostic technologies: PCR, Immunoassay/Clinical chemistry, POC-based testing technologies, laboratory IT solutions would be desirable
- Troubleshooting / problem solving
