Senior Support Worker

Responsibilities:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with mental health conditions
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Support individuals in participating in community activities and social events
- Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills, and to perform any other ad hoc duties as and when required.

Qualifications:

- NVQ level 5
- Previous experience working with individuals with mental health or dementia is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures

Other Requirements:

- Empathy and compassionate
- Willingness to learn, and take on new responsibilities

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.50 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

**Experience**:

- providing care: 1 year (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
