- Can you build a good working relationship with our partners B&NES care team who provide the personal care in the scheme?

**What you'll be doing**
You’ll have your own portfolio of customers who live within an Extra Care setting, you will build effective relationships and work with them to understand what it is they need to remain living independently in a safe environment. The types of support tasks include helping with shopping, assisting with medical appointments or social activities, reviewing financial status to maximise income, arranging aids and adaptations for their property and preventing loneliness.
Can you work with the Sheltered housing team to support with any housing management tasks if needed.
This is a part time role, working 14 hours per week across two days of your choice. Your working base will be Greenacres Court, Midsomer Norton.

A background or experience in the same industry **is not essential**, we are looking for people who can demonstrate great communication skills and a passion to support people - full training will be supplied on all aspects of the role.
Resilience is a key skill and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same
We will need to take up an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check for this role which we will do for you when you start.
