Revenue Controller

**Moore Barlow is seeking a Revenue Controller to be based in our Southampton offices.**

We are seeking a Revenue Controller to join our well-established finance team. You will be part of a team working closely with partners and other fee earners to help manage our WIP (work in progress), disbursements and debtors on their matters and will play a critical role in planning and delivering the end-to-end financial management. Ultimately this role is designed to ensure working capital is deployed effectively, whilst recoveries and cash flow is optimised.

This is a great opportunity to make an impact on the firm’s financial performance and would ideally suit an individual who enjoys working with others, critiically appraising and recommending improvements to deliver better results. You will be involved in all aspects of the firm’s time-to-cash cycle and ensure your legal divisions and partners achieve their billing and collections targets and working capital lock up objectives.

**What we look for**:
Previous experience as a revenue controller, legal cashier or credit controller is required, ideally gained within a law firm or similar professional services business.

You must have strong Excel skills and experience of using Elite 3E would be a distinct advantage (although not essential). You will have good systems knowledge and knowledge of relevant VAT rules. Experience of using external credit agency information systems would be an advantage.
