Bills of Materials Administrator

This position is maternity cover.

We are looking for a Bills of Materials Administrator to assist our R&D department by providing accurate, efficient and effective administration support. You will carry out activities listed below, whilst contributing to great customer service to internal and external customers.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Be able to understand and construct Bills of Materials (BoMs)
- To accurately maintain BoMs through our in house ERP system
- To set up and maintain dealer special BoMs in accordance with specifications as set out within the dealer specials specification requirements
- To carry out DCR changes and check their accuracy through the ERP and DCR system
- To work with members of the design team to assist with and set up new component part numbers where required
- To maintain PAL lists when receiving change notification alerts
- To liaise with and work closely with the Purchasing department to ensure weekly buying requirements are met, i.e. configuration requirements are fulfilled and specification amendments are up to date prior to vehicles going to buying.
- Carry out work centre changes and ensure all stakeholders are informed
- To assist with parts identification via the ERP system and 3D CAD drawings via vault viewer
- Work closely within multi-disciplined teams to ensure BoM requirements are achieved and delivered on time and quality
- Provide a high level of quality and customer service
- Answering general enquires.
- Any other reasonable duties as required.

They will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They will be able to complete and maintain accurate records. They will be self disciplined and able to work to their own initiative as well as being team orientated.

Experience of working in a similar background is desirable.
