**Placement Officer**

**Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year**

**Salary: £27,288 per annum (Professional Services Grade 6)**

**About the role**

An exciting opportunity for a Placement Officer based at our Salisbury Campus. As a Placement Officer you will be working with a variety of organisations to establish new and maximise on existing employer engagement relationships to source suitable placements for our students. You will work with students 1:1, and in group settings to prepare them for work placements including promoting and facilitating employability skills development.

**About you**

We are looking for an individual who is target driven with excellent people skills to provide a quality service. You should have previous experience in employer engagement environment along with excellent organisational and influential skills and high attention to detail. Knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding are essential to ensure all requirements are in place and that college procedures are followed.
