Community Care Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Care Workers. As a Community Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support to clients in various settings, including nursing homes, childcare centers, hospice care facilities, and private homes.
**Duties**:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal planning and preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Implement behavior management strategies for clients with challenging behaviors
- Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities
**Skills**:
- Previous experience in nursing homes, childcare centers, hospice care, or home care is preferred
- Ability to drive and have a valid driver's license
- Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion for individuals requiring care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
We offer competitive pay rates and flexible schedules. You can earn a minimum of £429 a week if working 37.5 hours (pro rata)
