**Domiciliary Care Worker**

We are a family run company which puts our clients & carers at the forefront of everything we do. We provide personal centred care packages, promoting independence by trained skilled staff. To provide regular visits and times to meet our clients needs.

**Duties will include**:

- Assist the client with dressing, undressing, washing, bathing, mouth care and toileting.
- Assist the client with mobility problems and any physical disabilities, including incontinence. Help with aids and professional equipment.
- Help support clients to be independent where safe to do so and encourage to do what they can for themselves
- Help promote good mental and physical well being.
- Handling household tasks like grocery shopping and laundry.
- Support in providing food and fluids and supporting a nutritional diet where possible.
- Change bedding where required.
- Report to the manger any concerns regarding the client.
- Work professionally with all other key people to enable the best outcome for the client.
- To work professionally with other team members and be supportive at all times.
- Prompting oral and topical medication stated in the care plan.
- Escorting clients to appointments or activities.
- Provide social interaction during your visits to the clients.
- Companionship - sitting with clients in there home or taking them out in the community.
- Attend training and meeting which will benefit you as a carer and your clients.

Shifts 7am-2pm 4pm-10pm (alternate working hours to be discussed)

Alternate working weekends will be required

For our staff we will -:

Free training to cover your Care certificate and many other Courses

(Training is in house both Practical and theory for the Care certificate)

Free Personal protective equipment (including Covid testing)

Free counselling and support to staff

Driving licence would be preferred or own transport
