Key Responsibilities- Lead shifts and support the Registered Manager with recruitment, supervision, meetings, and inspections.
- Support children to achieve their full potential, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, monitoring their development and updating records as necessary.
- Participate in our on-call rota, providing additional support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
- Patience, compassion, and resilience, with the ability to work with children who may have experienced trauma.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to update children's plans and communicate with colleagues and external agencies.
- A driving license, with the ability to transport children to community activities and outings.
- Flexibility, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins and on-call duties.
- A qualification in residential childcare, or a willingness to obtain one within the first two years of employment.
