**Hours per week **22.5 hours includes some evening and weekends, to meet the needs of the charity.
(Overtime or time in lieu as agreed prior with Line Manager)
**Annual Leave per annum **22 days annual leave plus national holidays (pro rata)
**Contract **12 months fixed term contract, (Probation period 3 months)

**Job Summary**
Your work will be key to raising the funds and support that enables Finchale Group to deliver the much-needed employment and wellbeing support that helps to change lives to our Armed Forces community members, which includes the Tri-Services Early/Service Leavers, Reservists, Veterans and their families.
**Responsibilities & Duties includes**:
- Help build and nurture Finchale’s supporter and donor base, for long term commitment.
- Proactively seek new fundraising support in the local community, corporate, and grants.
- Build relationships with local community groups and give talks where possible to encourage their support and adoption of Finchale Group’s activities.
- Represent the charity confidently in a range of formal and informal settings.
- Provide excellent support service to enquiries from members of the public, via phone, mail and in person, and encourage their support.
- Support those who are supporting Finchale with fundraising initiatives, by providing excellent supporter care to all donors via phone, writing, and in person, building long term support.
- Develop and use a fundraising database to develop and manage supporter relations.
- Provide excellent stewardship and on-going support to this network.
- Identify, research and form new fundraising groups in the community by organising community days and meeting potential volunteers face to face.
- Design and manage cash appeals and fundraising campaigns.
- Create/deliver/participate new/existing fundraising events.
- Provide the Fundraising Division Director with timely updates on performance and produce a monthly fundraising report.
- Ensure that accurate and up to date financial and supporter records are maintained and are accessible.
- Provide reports and information about activity, performance, supporters, volunteers etc. as necessary and upon request.
- Receive, record, bank and process income in accordance with FSNE policies and procedures.
- Undertake administrative duties as required.
- Ensure all fundraising activity is carried out in accordance with Charity Law, Fundraising
Codes of Practice, and Data Protection.
- Adhere to all Finchale Group’s Policy and Procedures, taking a personal responsibility to ensure your own, and others safety.

**Personal Specification**
A= Application Form, I = Formal Interview
**Experience**:
A minimum of two years’ A/I experience of managing, developing and delivering community
Fundraising activities for a charitable enterprise.
Experience of working with A/I fundraising supporters and building positive, nurturing relationships.
Experience in event management of various sizes.
Experience of managing a donor A/I data base, and converting one-off donors to regular supporters

Exceptional Communication Skills, verbal and written
Ability to use a database/ability A to learn how to use a database.
Ability to engage a wide range of A/I different people and to inspire them to support
Ability to manage a varied A fundraising diary
