Our Estates Management team play an integral part of achieving these goals by being responsible for Shoosmiths’ property strategy, space management and contract management.
- The roleShoosmiths are seeking an Estates Assistant / Receptionist to join the Estates Management Team in an exciting role which focuses on Client Services, providing an outstanding service to internal and external clients.

You will be working closely with the Regional Manager and Assistant Estates Manager, to maintain a high level of administrative duties. This includes general office management and health and safety. Full training and support will be given

Occasional travel may be required.
- Main responsibilities- Work alongside the Regional Manager and Assistant Estates Manager and be a point of contact for staff
- Support the Estates Management team in the daily delivery of all facilities operations
- Provide support to Estates Front of House / Hospitality and Reprographics when required. Uniform will be provided for when covering Reception.
- Audio Visual Support
- Liaise with Building Management for reactive issues
- New starter set up and inductions
- Healthy Working Plan assessments
- Stock check and ordering of certain supplies
- Issue access cards and manage local database
- Fire Warden (training will be given) with an opportunity to become a First Aider (optional)
- Event organising assistance
- Office Health and Safety - onsite training will be given
- Liaise with external contractors to ensure call outs are correctly placed and work completed within agreed business service level agreements
- Any other duties as required
- Skills and qualifications- Some office experience beneficial
- Proactive
- Willingness to learn and take guidance
- IT literate with experience of using Word and Excel
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy
- Positive and professional attitude with a solutions focussed approach to challenges
- Ability to identify areas requiring improvement and act on them
- Good organisational skills to ensure that tasks are effectively scheduled within working time available
- Flexible and helpful attitude
