Role: Ecommerce Executive - FTC 12 Months - Sheffield

Elevation Recruitment Group - Marketing Division are excited to be working with a manufacturing business who have been a UK market leader for over 40 years.

Hours
- 37.5 hours per week.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, we are looking for cover for maternity leave.

Main Purpose of the Role:

- Full digital acquisition responsibility for the profitable growth of the BBU direct to consumer channel across eCommerce and showrooms sales conversions.
- To be the digital lead working with internal and external resource to deliver omnichannel sales plans through innovative content management, digital campaigns and onsite merchandising.
- To manage external resource and associated acquisition budgets, monitoring their performance against agreed KPIs.

Main Responsibilities:

- Full ownership and management of all paid acquisition activity from concept through to execution, measurement, and refinement; managing agreed budgets and reporting performance upwardly when required.
- To manage all BBU direct to consumer promotional pricing changes in line with the agreed promotional calendar.
- Work closely with external web development agencies to report bugs and deliver enhancements to the websites on an ongoing basis.
- Monitoring key site metrics using Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel to assist in strategic decisions.
- Identify new and innovative ways to drive traffic, improve conversion of key landing pages, optimise digital touchpoints / customer journey to improve efficiency and increase revenue.
- Ensure that all content produced meets network guidelines and those recommended for SEO benefit whilst ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice etc.

Scope of Financial Responsibility:

- Responsibility for the effective spend, management and reporting of agreed acquisition budgets whilst working closely with the Sales & Marketing Director on retainer structures and general agency costs.
- Reporting of promotional activity, making comparisons between promotions, discounts and vouchers.

Key Accountabilities / Success Factors:

- Ensuring all activities are delivered on time with effective measurements of success to appraise their performance.
- Ultimately improve volume and / or quality of converting acquisition traffic through careful management of spend and resource.

Skills and Competencies:

- An ability to interface with colleagues from all departments of the business and external agencies is essential.
- Self-motivated with excellent planning and organisation skills, methodical and able to prioritise workload effectively, with the ability to respond promptly and work to deadlines.
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and written, being pro-active and able to work on own initiative and in teams.
- An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
