Home Ownership Team Leader

**About the role**:
This role is to lead the Homeownership team, as part of the wider Customer Directorate. Leading a team of Home Ownership Officers providing advice to colleagues on leasehold and freehold matters, you will act as a key in-house expert on Leasehold management ensuring that Paradigm is compliant with all leasehold related tasks.
Your role in leading the Home Ownership team is to ensure that as a team the following tasks and responsibilities are carried out, providing guidance and training as needed:
- Providing reasonable administrative function on the conveyancing of 100% resales enquiries within set timescales.
- Providing effective management of legal queries.
- Work closely with internal departments on upcoming procurement of contracts and planned works, ensuring timely and accurate Section 20 consultation is carried out in line with legislative requirements, including preparation of Section 20 Notices.
- Administering the Lease Extension process.
You will also be actively working to ensure effective customer involvement channels and opportunities are available, promoted and delivered to allow residents to feed into the delivery of our services, whilst also working collaboratively with the wider business.
- A good technical understanding of leases/previous leasehold management experience
- Experience of managing a team
- Competent in the use of IT including Microsoft Office
- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with residents, partners and contractors, especially in difficult situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to adapt style and explain complex information to different audiences
- Well organised, diligent, accurate with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to take personal responsibility for assessing situations, making decisions and concluding enquiries
**Location and Mobility Requirements**:
This role is based at Glory Park, with a hybrid working arrangement allowing you to work remotely for three days and spend two days per week in the office.
