Wired For Adventure, a leading outdoor and adventure magazine, is seeking an experienced and passionate Editor to join our team. With over 26 years of inspiring readers to explore the world through engaging and informative content, we are looking for someone who can uphold our commitment to quality and help expand our readership and digital presence.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure the timely and quality publication of Wired For Adventure magazine, a bi-monthly title
- Uphold the quality standards and maintain the magazine's value for readers
- Establish and manage a network of high-quality contributors for print and online channels
- Act as the face of Wired For Adventure, engaging with readers on social media and maintaining relationships with advertisers
- Work closely with the sales department to develop and deliver content packages for key clients
- Attend industry events, press trips, and shows to represent the magazine
- Edit articles for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and adherence to style guide
- Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant, with proper citation of sources if required
- Be familiar with and adhere to media laws and guidelines

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in the magazine industry, particularly in editing and proofreading
- Passion for creating engaging and entertaining content
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with contributors, advertisers, and readers
- Familiarity with media laws and guidelines
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (due to office location)

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
