**What do we offer**:

- 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday 08:45 to 17:15 (1hr unpaid lunch break included)

**Purpose of the role**:
Working within the Innovations Team, you will work alongside fantastic crew of scientist and fabric innovations specialist who are expects in what we do. You will play a pivotal role in administrative and analytical support, coordinating various activities within the team from organising meetings with external clients to carrying out analysis on trials data, liaising with other departments within the Nonwovenn Group and manage Innovations’ key administrative activities.
This is a brand new role and you can expect that the initial scope of the role is likely to evolve and lead to further growth opportunities within the team and the business.
**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:
- Support the team with administrative and analytical support.
- Create and maintain filing and recording systems for all works streams
- Ensure the correct materials and documentation is available ahead of the trial to allow the Innovations Technologist to carry out trials in a timely manner.
- Collect samples, accurately record sample data, date & time of production, products codes, and trial information needed for the trial library.
- Co-ordinate meetings as directed, including booking meeting rooms and refreshments.

- Working with Procurement team to purchase materials for trials as directed.
- Carry out low levels testing and record results accurately
- Carry out analysis on trial data as directed.
- Maintain the Innovations samples library, document sample data as directed and store samples safely for easy retrieval.
- Work with EH&S Manager and Procurement Manager to ensure all chemicals used in Innovations have up to date safety data sheets.
- Working with EH&S and the Innovations Technologists ensure all chemicals or harmful materials are stored safely.
- Always promote safe working
- Report all accidents near misses or hazards promptly

**Qualifications & Experience required**:
- Previous working experience in Quality, R&D or Textile Manufacturing is desired
- General administration in busy manufacturing environment or manufacturing experience in analysing samples & data
- HND or Maths/Science graduate
**Aptitudes**:
- Analytical mindset, very good with data interpretation and logical conclusions
- Great organisation skills and attention to detail
- Understand and interpret complex technical information and be able to communicate this to colleagues or suppliers in an easy-to-understand manner.
Able to communicate at all levels within the business, adapt style and tone as required
