We are looking for a Commercial Coordinator to join our International Freight Forwarding team. Working as part of the wider Ocean Freight Forwarding commercial Team, the role is a hybrid position, located in in Milton Keynes (MK7 8BN) with an opportunity to work remotely for 3 days per week.

The position will offer an annual salary of between £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing daily workload of quotations received from clients, UK Sales and/or Yusen Network, in line with department Key Performance Indicators
- Preparation and presentation of quotations for Clients and following up for feedback
- Preparing and delivering of Commercial information to other departments as required
- Engage and liaise with local Shipping Lines and/or Haulier contacts to obtain and negotiate day to day pricing as required
- Attend and contribute to local commercial meetings as required
- Undertake any other duties as requested by the Team Leader and/or Commercial Manager as may be required in line with the department and/or company strategies or needs.

Key Skills:

- Experience in Freight Forwarding/Ocean Freight operations is essential
- Able to prioritise workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Strong numerical skills - understanding of financial (profit & loss)
- Confident and professional communicator, verbal & written
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Proactive & flexible approach
