**The Role and the Team**

As the People Operations Lead at Blue Light Card, you’ll be accountable for managing all aspects of the employee life cycle, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. You’ll support the continued growth of our business by provision of data led insights and reporting to optimise systems, data, processes and policies.

The People Operations team is currently a team of 4, you’ll play a key role in putting in more automation and reducing manual interactions to allow the overall team to grow and develop.

**What **You’ll Do**
- Manage, mentor and develop the People Operations team (including office and facilities management and line management of a Facilities Executive) ensuring the team is always resourced and structured to maximise efficiency
- Work collaboratively with the People Director and other Leads (across Talent Acquisition and L&D) to work effectively cross functionally in line with business priorities
- Lead on a range of people projects, for example, reviewing the current HRIS, leveraging new technologies and embracing AI to automate processes
- Oversee, document, and review our people lifecycle processes globally to ensure they are streamlined, and fit for purpose as we scale ensuring alignment/integration of our colleague value proposition; including new joiners, internal mobility, leavers, engagement, performance and reward & recognition
- Oversee and support on employee relations matters across the business, escalate as appropriate to the People Business Partners and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Budget and supplier management - ensure that we're managing an allocated list of our external providers effectively and reviewing their performance regularly
- Manage the performance management framework as defined by L&D, with input from the People Business Partners and wider people team to identify opportunities for further improvements and developments
- Oversee the reward cycle and salary benchmarking through accurate and timely data and templates to support a smooth-running reward process
- Own the colleague engagement tool, managing the engagement/pulse surveys and providing data led insights to the People Business Partners to enable suitable department actions plan
- Be a brand ambassador and actively participate in Culture Club, organising team-building activities, recognition programs, and events to boost colleague engagement
- Build dashboards for management teams to provide timely and accurate information on the people metrics that will contribute to lasting engagement and business success

**What** You’ll Bring**
- Proven experience in a similar role is essential
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience supporting change management and rapid growth, ideally within the tech industry and preferably within a venture or private equity backed business
- Proven experience in scaling a people operations team through automation and data efficiency
- In-depth and up to date knowledge of People best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Strong leadership and people management skills (within a hybrid/remote first business)
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
