**About UWC International**

The UWC International Office (UWCIO) is the executive arm of UWC International, a UK registered charity, and is situated at the heart of the UWC movement. Located in central London and Berlin, the UWC International Office collaborates closely with all stakeholders from across the UWC movement, engages the UWC alumni community of more than 60,000 members and serves UWC International’s governance bodies. Responsibilities include global fundraising, global communications, promotion and marketing, supporting the network of over 150 UWC national committees in their daily work and growth, global strategy development and implementation and assisting the UWC schools.

**About the role**

This role will play an essential part in fulfilling UWC International’s Programmes remit by supporting the delivery of our national committee fundraising ambitions. You will be part of UWC International’s Programmes Team. The role also works closely with the Senior Financial Accountant in the Finance Team. Day to day, you will support the capacity building of UWC national committees by administering systems and processes that help strengthen and develop their fundraising activities. We are a small supportive team and are committed to providing you with on-the-job training and development. This role is an excellent step towards a career involving working in an International setting. You will get a chance to work with people around the globe and be developed by a team of dedicated professionals.

**Job Scope**

The Programme Administrator will support the team in implementing national committee (NC) system-wide activities and initiatives which grow national committee fundraising, including how best to use data to monitor, evaluate, and report on activity. Specific responsibilities include the following:

- Facilitate donation communications between UWC International and UWC national committees.
- Ensure that donation services for national committee -raised funds are provided, including accounting, trouble-shooting, transferring, etc.
- Together with colleagues in the Finance team, ensure that national committee related financial data are accurate and consistent to the greatest extent possible.
- Support the development and standardisation of national committee’s giving pages.
- Support team with data management and analysis for monitoring and evaluation.
- Support national committee’s with the creation and the update of UWC alumni and community directories.
- Support team with coordination of workshops and annual incentive campaigns.

**Person Specification**

**Essential knowledge, skills and experience**
- Interest in the field of fundraising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Numerate with basic accounting skills and a good attention to detail.
- Sound analytical skills, with the ability to analyse, interpret and use data.
- Methodical approach to tasks, with the ability to prioritise and organise work and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude, able to work independently and to take initiative.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, cross-cultural sensitivity and a high level of comfort operating in an international and multicultural environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and across teams working in multiple time zones, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
