Our fabulous #TeamBarfillan is recruiting now for an outgoing, caring and understanding *female colleague who loves getting out and about to join them as **Support Practitioners** on a permanent basis. **This part time role will be one day shift, followed by a sleepover.**

**The Role**

You will be joining a team of fun loving and dedicated **Support Practitioners **providing twenty-four-hour support to a young chatty and active lady with a learning disability who is registered blind and has cerebral palsy living in her own flat.

As a **Support Practitioner**, you will play a crucial role in assisting the person we support with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, personal care, meal preparation, administering medication and the management of personal finances. You will accompany the people we support on any outings, including when attending health appointments, and support them to pursue her interests and hobbies. The young lady really enjoys being outside, going bowling and visiting the cinema, attends hydrotherapy and would also like support to find a volunteering opportunity.

As a team, it is our aim to enable the person we support to live a fulfilling and valued life, where they can achieve their own personal goals and aspirations.

To be a great Support Practitioner, we'll need you have;

- Able to follow guidelines.
- Confidence in the use of technology.

**Shift Patterns**

Our friendly team provides support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays and sleepovers as part of your rota.

Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you’ll receive an additional payment of £98.10 for every sleepover.
