Business Partnerships Officer

**The Role**
The Business Partnerships Officer will work closely with our Director of Business Development to raise funds which enable Inspire to deliver programmes for children and young people enabling them to understand the opportunities available to them and develop the skills needed to access them.

**Responsibilities**

1. Manage fundraising campaigns e.g. London Marathon, Sky-Dives, The Big-Give etc.

2. Establish and coordinate a tiered system and pipeline of progression for corporate partners on our Supporters Network to support development of new opportunities and manage existing ones.

3. Organise annual Supporters Network event celebrations.

4. Research potential funders and identify opportunities for income generation with existing and prospective partners.

5. Coordinate corporate communication and volunteering calendars.

6. Support the marketing department with marketing materials to promote the charity’s work and raise awareness for funders.

8. Support the Director of Business Development in responding to funders’ requests and questions.

9. Support presentations to funders and production of presentation materials.

10. Maintain an annual calendar of funding opportunities including community fundraising activities taking the lead on identified areas as appropriate.

11. Research funding opportunities, competitors and market trends.

12. Assist with engaging service users in the design of our work.

13. Use Trello to record activity, update contacts and produce reports.

14. Support preparation of reports for charity Trustees and funders.

15. Build and maintain relationships with funders and partners.

16. Manage administration and recording systems which support business development.

17. Carry out any other duties that are in line with the purpose and grade of the role.

18. Complete all tasks in accordance with the charity policies and procedures, particularly those relating to equal opportunities, GDPR, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.

**Qualifications required**
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at A* to C grade (9 - 4) or equivalent (including English and Maths).
- A Levels or equivalent qualification.

- Excellent team player.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong personal alignment with Inspire and its charitable objectives.

**Desirable**
- Experience in fundraising, income generation, business development or marketing.
- Experience of delivering projects involving young people and schools.
- Experience of successful and high-quality account management.
- Awareness of equalities issues.
- Understanding of how schools operate.
- Creative thinker.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
