- Create and maintain an extensive cigar list that complements our menu offerings
- Assist guests in selecting cigars that pair well with their beverage of choice.
- Provide detailed descriptions of cigars, including origin, flavour profiles, and production methods
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new cigar releases
- Train staff members on cigar knowledge and service techniques
- Collaborate with the team to ensure proper cigar storage and upkeeping
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage cigar purchasing
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests related to the cigar program

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cigar Sommelier or similar role in a similar establishment
- Extensive knowledge of cigars from different regions, varietals, and vintages
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and cigar lists effectively
- Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and sales totals
- Excellent phone etiquette for taking reservations and answering guest inquiries
- Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Outstanding communication skills to effectively educate guests about cigar and make recommendations
- Ability to sell cigar confidently while providing exceptional customer service
