Workshop Coordinator

To manage and supervise the day to day operations within the workshop/yard along with associated staff. Overall responsibility for the safety and welfare of those staff and visitors alike in the workshop/yard areas.

1. Prioritize tasks for workshop staff in accordance with written procedures and resource, material and tooling availability.

2. Setup required equipment as requested for issues and redeployments and issues.

3. As and when required conduct repair and servicing of equipment.

4. Providing lead times and updates of repairs to projects, service and or the customer.

5. Ensure that paperwork is completed with all relevant information. Including approval in advance of prompt issue of invoicing.

6. Liaise with supply to ensure the correct level of parts required to conduct workshop repairs in a timely manner.

7. Ensure that all repair work conducted within the workshop is done efficiently and to a high-quality standard.

8. Supervise Workshop and yard technicians on their day to day duties.

9. Responsible for the cleanliness, organization and efficiency of the workshop/yard.

10. Ensure workshop/yard equipment/tools are fit for purpose and where necessary have relevant and valid certification.

11. Training of required AGS employees in workshop repairs and servicing.

12. Any other duties as directed by Management.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the post holder may be required to perform other duties resulting from organisational change, restructuring or temporary re-assignment of work.

**Experience & Knowledge**
- Experience in a workshop environment or similar.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook Express, Word, Excel and Access

**Desirable**
- Knowledge of stock control
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Experience at supervisory level
- Experience with AKVA products

**Skills**
- Flexible with ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal

**Salary**: £15.50-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
